To add to this, Hood and Knaak were taken in a different reality. We thought longer term development was an option but that's not the current reality.

And Mazzccua was good for us, too. Just was really into asking other large men for BJs.

Have we possibly considered that along with bags of cash, that players want to play for a team that has more success than being 6-6 in the last 5 plus years?

I mean, if I can get a million bones at three schools and two of those three schools have won 9 plus games and have been relevant in major conferences, I might just want to go there over the million bones and 6-6?

I mean…I’d rather have the million bones and play for Oregon, Ole Miss, Kansas State, Michigan, Missouri, etc. than I would here.

And heaven forbid I like those schools systems better than Nebraskas and their potential for putting me into the NFL with a higher draft stock, as they’ve had better track records at this for when my 7 years of eligibility are over?
