I can listen to DB leading up to a game because he’s generally pretty positive. Where he gets unbearable is about this time every year.

His formula truly is that he’ll lead off with something like “Man. I hope what I heard coming out of north stadium isn’t true. Would be bad news if it was.”

Then his co-host will unsuccessfully try to pull something out of him.

One of the guests or his co-host will state an opinion later on in the show. He’ll come up and say something like “You wouldn’t have that opinion if you knew what I knew and it has to do with what I alluded to earlier that I can’t say.”
For many years now and he is annoying AF

It just doesn't add up. Why would the players not stop trying during the regular season after their coaches were fired? Why would Mickey Joseph come here knowing he's walking into a cluster fuck (he had to know, I'm sure he talked to Turd and former players before taking the job)? Why haven't we seen more players names in the portal if there's really so much turbulence? It seems to be only the old players that were likely to move on anyways that are pissed off? Idk, it's just doesn't make sense.
Pride and playing for each other could possibly answer your first question. On the MJ front lets see his deal. For all we know he got 3 years and paid very well. You know he got 2 years for sure.

I think that’s a fair stance. Maybe Frost just surprised them with his reaction? I’m not sure. But I don’t think Sherman is wrong from everything I’ve heard.

He picked everything up and left Louisiana though.

I’d agree, but maybe the players are playing for themselves and their camaraderie and not their coach?

No word on that, but he made enough that he probably didn't need to jump at the first person to offer him a job.
I was under the assumption if Kelly offered him to stay he wasn’t coming. I am interested to see his contract at Nebraska.

That is far from "needs another year"

The usual line that NFL scouts give is 3rd round, like if you're not projected to go 3rd or higher, you should wait another year. So if they're telling him 3rd-5th round, he should probably at least be leaning toward staying.

The advisory committee does 1st, 2nd, or no grade nowadays

Haha no.

He had one last year too. For managers it’s more about “did you feel your superiors treated you with respect?” “What was the best part of your role this year?” “What was the worst part of your role this year?” “Were you able to keep up on your schoolwork while meeting the demands of this job?” “What is one thing you would change?” Etc.

He’s thinking he’ll be back next year. He’s only a sophomore.
Well you’re going to have to make him a recruiter and get someone to take over his position once he’s done. This has to continue.

Mitch's schtick is to be hugely negative on Frost and the program in order to make up for what fans see as other media being easy on the folks in North Stadium. That's it. The guy is a hack.

Well, if Mitch is negative towards Frost and the program, then there's one guy in the media who calls it how it is then.

He miss quoted Toure to make it seem like he buss rolled Smothers last week. He likes to frame things in the worst light.

There sure are a lot of people who think very highly of Frost without any real evidence despite him running a sub .500 program for four years and a lot of consistent smoke around what kind of guy he is.

Is it really that surprising when his job is on the line that he’d be a dick to a player who was planning to leave the program?

Truth is probably somewhere in the middle, but I’ve yet to hear anything that sounds unbelievable.

The next time I hear a positive story about Scott, it will honestly be the first time.

But he's from here.
