I think you keep Beckton at TE, TT at DL, and Fisher at DB. I would absolutely take Kevin Steele at DC. Chinander has done well but I don't know if he can't make us elite. I dunno why you wouldn't put Busch at ST.QB/OC: Gill

What are Fisher and Beckton's ties to Nebraska though?I think you keep Beckton at TE, TT at DL, and Fisher at DB. I would absolutely take Kevin Steele at DC. Chinander has done well but I don't know if he can't make us elite. I dunno why you wouldn't put Busch at ST.
I'm aware that you were being tongue in cheekWhat are Fisher and Beckton's ties to Nebraska though?
That was all tongue in cheek.
I like the defensive staff Nebraska has mostly as is. I am a bit skeptical about Chin's ability to take it to the next level unless they start recruiting at a higher level
You hire Korn if you just want to commit to CCU's offense.I have yet to hear it from a credible person.
I was basically told he would be an off the wall hire.
He doesn't even call plays at CC. How do you expect to turn the keys over? If you were thinking of having him coach QBs or WRs maybe but you don't have the numbers. Unless we got a nice analyst money pool now.

You probably hire him if you want to make $11.5M in the next year and then retire. You hire Korn if you just want to commit to CCU's offense.
If there's anything I've learned since starting to listen to AM radio like 1620 with the usual media guys, and Sip, once a name is mentioned, there's usually some smoke to it. Damon himself brought up Brent Davis. No agenda being pushed on my end, but that's what I noticed. I think Korn would be your exciting holy shit pick, but David could be that disciplined teaching/culture pick for an OC. We'll seeeFrost seems to be moving in the direction of the option spread offense that we saw this year, that Kearney runs and CCU runs. If that is what he wants, it would suggest either hiring Korn or Davis, wouldn't it? I can't see him handing over the reigns of his offense to Korn though, he's too inexperienced.
I would prefer Harrell or Morris personally but I can't help but wonder if Davis is going to be the guy.
Korn would be an exciting holy shit hire in the same way that my two year old finding a loaded pistol would beIf there's anything I've learned since starting to listen to AM radio like 1620 with the usual media guys, and Sip, once a name is mentioned, there's usually some smoke to it. Does he call the plays at Coastal?

What? Lol come onI think Korn would be your exciting holy shit pick,
No one is serious about Gill being the OCI can't tell what is real and what is sarcasm in this thread.
Korn, Davis, Gill would all be terrible hires.
Frost needs a plug and play top level OC. He doesn't have the luxury of time to get things smoothed out.
I think that's true about the media but I heard Damon pushing the Davis idea in an interview with McKeown, who wasn't having it, so that gives you different media data points. Made me think they both know it's not going to be Davis and Damon wanted to go on record with why he would have been a good idea.If there's anything I've learned since starting to listen to AM radio like 1620 with the usual media guys, and Sip, once a name is mentioned, there's usually some smoke to it. I'm more serious about him than Willy fucking Korn.No one is serious about Gill being the OC
That makes sense. This morning in that interview he really wanted to make the case for Davis in a way you probably wouldn't feel compelled to do if you thought he was the choice.Davis has been DB’s popular mention in his show this whole time. The Monday after people got fired he was talking about him.
