While I think you are right, we all would be very annoyed and nearly ready to move on. That being said, that doesn't mean that we are right. I don't think Raiola has done anything to be really annoying or acted like a prima donna. We have made a lot of assumptions based off of insider information that makes us believe he is not playing around.
I, for one, 100% believe he is not playing around with Nebraska and is very seriously interested (thanks to Matt Rhule).

This- Rhule is smart enough to see that the OL was SHIT at pass pro last year. The best avenue for success in the short term is to run. That doesn’t mean that he wants to overwhelmingly run long term. He sees the writing on the wall, and Dylan gives him better options in the future than the current team can provide.
Both sucked, but I think the pass pro was much better by the end of the year than our run blocking.

Running game was terrible.

I doubt that he did his 23 MPH in a game, but I don't care. It's still incredibly fast.

why does the #9 ranked RB & #152 overall prospect in the country show UTSA leading at 51%? Highly rated 4 Star back leaning towards Texas San Antonio?
Most likely because they were his first offer, a year and a half ago 247 doesn't have him leaning toward anyone. The One RPM factors in social media occurrences.

The path to Nebraska for Sam Sledge

What role did your father, Bob Sledge

“Both my mom and my dad helped me through (the recruiting process). Just knowing about the history of Nebraska and he was right there through the history and right there during the good times. Ever since I’ve been little he’s taught me all about it. ”

“I grew up watching most of his games or on YouTube. He guided me all the way through it and it was pretty easy to pick Nebraska once I got the offer.”

Tell us about your journey through the offer, visiting, and committing.

“I was a little open-minded before I got the offer to Nebraska. I was wanting to go everywhere. But, once I got the Nebraska offer I knew I wanted to commit there right away.”

What other schools were you considering when you committed?

“Kansas, Kansas State and I also got an offer from Illinois the day I committed. Cockeye, Cockeye State, mostly schools from around here.

What did you know about Nebraska before they offered?

“Before coach (Donovan) Raiola came in I really had no contact with them. I mean, coach (Barrett) Ruud kept me updated on everything, but once Raiola came in that’s one of the first actual contacts I got.”

Did things move quickly from there?

“I think I got an offer from (Raiola) in January I think. It was right after Raiola got here and I know I was his first offer so I committed right away.”

Was there anything about Nebraska that surprised you on your visit?

“Probably not.”

“I would say the Haymarket.”

What do you look forward to the most when it comes to your life as a Husker?

“I would say just being a leader in the community and always having to be the best person you can be and show everyone how to treat people and how to act.”

What is the plan for year one?

“To get stronger, get faster and get in the weight room. Just learn my role and do the best I can as my role. Be the best teammate I can be and do whatever I can to help Nebraska win.”

What position will you play?

“Interior offensive line.”

What number do you want to wear?

“If I had to choose, either 62 to follow my dad or whatever number I really don’t care…62 is in the running though. ”
