Let’s talk airline travel: What pisses you off?

Because we can now, we only fly first class. So in no particular order:

  • Lesser class passengers banging their luggage into me when they load
  • Not getting my pre-flight cocktail
  • Immediately on the start of de-sent, they want to pick up your cocktail

I have to mention this again as I had to fly last week.
Mother fuckers that are ya 6’0 plus should not get a seat with more leg room. I’m only 6’3 and I cannot fit in between the seats.

I almost always fly first class for my job, but flights into lincoln rarely have that availability. Fuck.

If you had any American connection into DFW this past week…you’d be pissed about a lot of things.

Tons of cancellations and delays because of storms early in the week and they just never recovered thru the weekend.

We ended up renting a car and driving from DFW to Wichita yesterday.

A superior experience to getting on that flying death trap

My wife has a connection in DFW today. Hoping there’s no issues.

People that have to lap sit a child who is clearly tired just on the cusp of NOT needing to be lap sat and said child acts like an ass the entire 2 hour flight.

I wasn't in the seat in front of this person but my friend was...child was screaming, laughing, screaming, yelling, kicking the seat...etc. Dad wasn't doing shit but asking the baby asshole to be quiet, stop, you're making too much noise...mom wasn't around, the people sitting next to the demon seed were laughing and carrying on like it was amusing which made the spawn of Satan carry on even more. I had my noise cancelling over the ear headphones on and could still hear him but was muted enough.

Note to all the dads out there, don't be a pussy...discipline your child when they act like dicks. I'd rather hear a child cry b/c the parent was "parenting" the fuck out of the situation than hear a child go unpunished for being an asshole

I have a 3 and 5 year old now, and my worst nightmare is making the flight miserable for other people around us. We've flown nearly a dozen times with them, and 11 out of 12 of the times people like yourself have commented "I was worried but they did great" which actually makes you feel pretty good as a parent.

The one-off time coming back from Florida, it was unseasonably cold but my 2 year old at the time wanted to swim and of course developed a cold or ear infection or something and was just awful the whole flight due to the cabin pressure. There was a group of 4 or 5 guys that were either coming back from a golf trip, bachelor party, or both and you could tell they all felt like death, hungover, and tired. She kept them up and all I could do was offer them a drink for the inconvenience. The guy that felt the worst did the Hangover "almost vomit/dry heave" when I offered alcohol to him. Got the guys to at least laugh for a second then go back to hating us.

The people that are first in line to board on Southwest.
So not Southwest, but a different story.

So there I was flying from Williston, ND back to Omaha (connection through Denver) early Friday morning. The flight was United and they go through their typical stuff of before boarding the 1st and then the rest of the groups. If you're active military, come on. If you have any children or babies that need a little more time, come on. If you have a disability, come on. Sure enough, the woman who I saw walking around pre-flight that never had a limp suddenly developed a limp walked up, scanned ticket, and walked on.

If there were ever a time that I hope our plane crashed somewhere and all but her survived, it would be that time.

I believe Key and Peele had a skit using your experience?
