He plays ugly but he has some intangibles we haven’t seen in a Husker QB in a long time.
For some reason I don’t feel an impending sense of doom when he is at the reigns.
I also feel like he doesn’t give a shit what his stats are at the end of the day. He just want to win.
He’s a poor-man’s Tim Tebow and though I know he’s never going to be a top-tier QB, he may very well be the first husker QB to get us to a bowl game since 2016.
And, importantly, although he doesn’t give us a chance to beat (or almost beat) teams like Michigan like Adrian did, for some reason I feel better with him at the helm against teams like Illinois, Northwestern, etc.
