POLLTE Heinrich Haarberg: Realistic expectation this year
I somewhat compare his situation to Keith Neubert who played power forward on the basketball team while I was at UNL. EVERYONE kept asking him why he didn’t play football because of his size and build. Ended up going out and playing TE his senior year and played several years in the NFL. Just began to scratch the surface in his one year at TE but had so much talent that it led him to the NFL. Not apples to apples with HH as he already has been playing QB and knows so much more about the game. He probably will have flashes of brilliance during the season at times but then also not touch the ball much when a heavy run game plan is needed. Certainly could see HH have the type of year that an NFL team would invite him for a look. Could be a great special teams guy. Dana will find ways to get him in position. Matching him with a LB in coverage would be a tough match for the D if he can get off the LOS cleanly and he works on his route running hard this offseason.
