I’m sure you’ll see the same thing pop up about me sooner than later

Curious if anyone has tried the new Maxfli balls out yet. I’ve seen some really good reviews of them but obvi Maxfli hasn’t produced a top end ball since they were made out of leather back in the day.

Was at Dicks yesterday and they have a sale for 4 dozen for $109 or 2 dozen for $65 so I picked up 2 dozen.

They are excellent balls. I usually place the Pro V1x and the the Maxfli Tour X seems to perform just as good. Good spin, flight and are durable.

I am a 9 HDCP any by no means a great golfer, but I am very impressed with the Maxfli.

I’m still bad at golf so it doesn’t matter at all which ball I use. With that said my favorite I’ve tried so far are the Vice Pro drips

Amen! My first thought was, "that's a lot of money to spend on balls that are either going to end up in water or in the woods..."

Good to hear. I’m roughly the same hdcp, so I can tell the difference when I’m playing a better quality ball. I’m not good enough though for the price not to matter with how many I lose 😂

Found a real unexpected gem of a course today. On a work trip down in Wichita, some randoms I played with while down here last time recommended Sand Creek Station in Newton.

Paid $35 for 18 and a cart with range included. Was probly the best bang-for-your-buck I’ve ever seen. Longest course in Kansas so naturally decided to play the championship tees (so got my ass kicked).

Highly recommend to anyone unfortunate enough to end up in Wichita.

It’s great. Just hosted the US Adaptive Open last month.

How was the rest of the course? Willow is a great course.
Great shape in general. Greens were super slow due to the rain and not being able to cut them.

By far the best value in the metro. I’m always amazed at how many people don’t realize it exists. Only RTJ course in the state.

Yeah pretty wild for a long time it was really exclusive. I’ve heard they are going to shut it down and do a major renovation because Offut got a bunch of money to spend on recreation for base improvement.
