At the rate you’re actually playing golf, you’ll be breaking 90 in no time. Have you taken any lessons?Well +11 would be a great 9 for me
No, I probably shouldAt the rate you’re actually playing golf, you’ll be breaking 90 in no time. Have you taken any lessons?
Even taking like three lessons can make a huge differenceNo, I probably should
Used to go there when they played The International there. Beautiful course. I’m glad they grew the rough long, otherwise they would tear the course apart. Greens also look lightening quick!
Finkbine? Heard it's real good.I have 11 rounds scheduled between tomorrow and October 1st. More golf than I played all year. Unfortunately 3 of those rounds are at Cockeye’s home course.
It’s a really good course once you get past the black and gold. Very hard and fast greens.Finkbine? Heard it's real good.
It’s fantastic. Played in the Barstool Classic there last year. Greens were so fucking fast. It’s a really good course once you get passed the black and gold. Very hard and fast greens.
Ya, that sucks. Like OU’s course. It’s really, really good, but you’re blinded by sooner nonsense. It’s a really good course once you get past the black and gold. Very hard and fast greens.
Anyone feel free to respond, but I’m curious: Why are fast greens important to the average golfer? It’s a really good course once you get past the black and gold. Very hard and fast greens.
To me fast greens are just a hell of a lot more fun. I'm also a "die it in the hole" putter and don't like to hit puts hard.Anyone feel free to respond, but I’m curious: Why are fast greens important to the average golfer?
Fast greens in general will roll more true as opposed to slow greens. Generally, once you get your ball on line on a smooth and fast green, it will hold its line compared to a slow green.Anyone feel free to respond, but I’m curious: Why are fast greens important to the average golfer?
Exactly this. Much much preferable to slow, shaggy greens IMO...acclimate to the pace needed and commit to your line, a lot easier to develop some consistency and get into a good rhythm.Fast greens in general will roll more true as opposed to slow greens.
