Breaking Fong bomb 1/9

Are we taking this guy just to add a body? Doesn’t seem to have the profile of a guy you would affirmatively set your sights on.
He technically still has 4 years but ya his HS recruitment was wild. Not sure if this kid is the answer. But I don’t get paid to make those decisions.

You can never have too much depth at RB. That said, the skill position players that have no previous playing time, always scares me. A lot of them are afraid of competition, and will run away at the first sign of adversity. I'd much rather have Thomas from Minnesota.

That play alone made me hate him. He might win a heisman for donu & I’ll still hate him.
It’s really his only bad play all of last year. I’d for sure make that your hill to die on with all his other excellent plays when he got the ball. Carry on

He was an .85 composite 3* out of HS. And didn’t do anything at A&M.

I don’t get it.

Had a really good offer list out of HS and sounds like we already were familiar with him. Might be a replacement for Yant and/or Stepp.

It’s what Husker fans do best. Pump themselves up mentally all off season and then crash worse than a heroin addict when we suck ass per usual
We will win the West in 2022

Time for you to start drinking the look aid and stop being such a whiny little bitch

My best case scenario is this. Frost has a good year. Gets huge raise then has a terrible year in 2023 and gets fired and the boosters that fought to keep him lose a ton of money personally

Usually I agree with you but this is one of those I don't agree with you. Yant is actually pretty good, Held just mismanaged his room so badly no one got a chance to shine

Yant mismanaged himself badly. He's one of those guys who could be great if he could get his shit together and keep it together. But I wouldn't count on it...

I really wish I knew more that happened behind the scenes.. It sounds like he is a kid who needs some hand holding.

Yant stands in his own way and there is a mental barrier there. Unless he overcomes that he probably won't be a factor in the future. This wasn't on Held mismanagement.

One situation I recall Yant was supposed to to be fully dressed and doing non contact team installs, RB drills, and light conditioning in other segments. He walked out to practice in street clothes. He walked over to the trainers to 'check in', he then walked away looking pissed. He stood around for a while before Ron Brown came down and talked to him. I overheard that conversation, that's when I became a bigger Ron Brown fan. He had a way to connect to him and got him doing what he was supposed to do.
