Colorado going all out at practice

I wish they were only getting scrubs. Unfortunately it looks like they are in on a few dawgs rn

I'm not sure how anyone could have any level of confidence they can RETAIN any "dawgs" that they close on at this point. I think they have at least 4 P5 contributors that have transferred in and transferred out within 4 months of being in the program.

Mainly guys who came in the fall and are sick of boulder winter. They brought in over 30 so if only 4 from that batch have left that’s not a bad ratio. They landed two plug and play starters from FSU yesterday for the defense.

And are about to land the AAC freshman of the year at RB

Along with his buddy a first team all AAC offensive lineman

It’s impressive the flip that Deion is making if you look at the recruiting profiles of the guys leaving vs the guys coming in. Now is that a recipe for success? Time will tell. I’ll say this Shadeur is the real deal. I don’t buy the overrated sentiment with him.

I don't wish injuries on people but if there were a team that were to get devastated by injuries I hope it's Colorado.

He's already easily the (unintentionally) funniest villain in college football, CLEARLY he loves playing into it, so I'm loving being on the other side and rooting against him haha. I'm so glad we play them this year, it's gonna be such a fun week with SO much hype. And then of course I pray that we just fucking steamroll those dorks.

SO FAR it seems like it could all be a gigantic disaster, it's just a completely nuts way to run a program and expect to actually have a competitive roster. But nobody has ever done it this way, so we'll see!

Oh so you’re a Colorado fan. Makes sense now 🤣

I can tell you exactly what's happening and will continue to happen, and i'm not even there.

All of the players that used to be there are getting jumped by new guys, they aren't even giving them a chance, even though some of them are very good. So they are portaling.

Now they will promise everything to these 70 transfer guys and recruits they have coming in, and there's only 22 starting spots.

So they will start getting guys to come there and people will say "see" then in July/August you will see their portal entries skyrocket again.

Rinse and repeat.

What I don’t understand if NIL with these transfers. We hear constantly at Nebraska about the money these guys want. How are they going to offer big NIL deals to these guys?

Your thought here is that 4 top end transfers have come in and subsequently left in 3-4 months time, it's because of winter, and it's not a red flag?

Bad news for these Florida boys - winter happens again each year. And it even happens during the 2nd half of football season. Ruh-Ro.

I'll say this, it's fuckin wild that they have TCU first game of the season. Obviously we'll see what they're made of then (like CU will see what NU is made of vs MN).

But this CU thing just reminds me of the initial Frost UCF to NU season. It's like that x100. I expect this Colorado team to be mentally weak like Frost's teams were...meaning they'll probably be streaky. The problem w Frost is his teams never got that one break in the 4th Q to set up a win & then momentum.

It feels like this CU team could swing either way. They could pull the upset vs TCU and then beat Nebraska and then go 7-5. But they could also lose to TCU and Nebraska and go 3-9. I'm not willing to call it yet on these guys bc I think his transfer in list will look impressive when we get to June.

But knowing this CU thing will be as flimsy as the Frost/NU regime, I'm hoping for a 45-14 TCU win that ends the Prime regime before it starts.

No, i was stating that 4 have left but hes brought in fucking 40. He aint messing around with the 1-11 trash that was left on the roster. Personally i wish Rhule would be blowing up our 10-40 over the last 4 years roster too

Not a big deal - but when you go to the Roster on the CU site, these guys are pulled off IMMEDIATELY. In my experience of looking up whether or not these guys were contributors before, they usually linger on the team site for a while. i.e. most of the kids transferring into CU the past couple days are still on their previous team's site.

Say what you want, but Deion is organized in wiping kids he's not pouring into off of the face of the earth.

What you're missing is that there are 4 that TRANSFERRED IN WHEN DEION WAS HIRED. they were hand picked by him as his first moves, and already said "Fuck this"

He's had 55 leave at this point. The 4 in reference were Power 5 contributors that have jumped ship since arriving WITH Deion. Michigan's DL wasn't 1-11 trash and that kid said "Fugg off Prime" and got outta town. I don't think that's because he "couldn't take a winter in Boulder"

I fully understand that those 4 came in with Deion. What don’t you understand about losing 4 of the 50 youve brought in is not a big deal? 4 fucking guys out of 50? Now do Frost’s ratio.
