Might as well forfeit if we have to start Benhart again. Not sure I've seen a lineman suck that badly in FBS. Piper gave him a run for his money, bit big Ben is the worst I can ever remember seeing.

He looks the part, but so did Chris Walker. OL development/play is the biggest question mark going into the year and we will suck again unless we see some drastic improvement.

Ha totally agree. I was just meaning actually looking the part. Walker should’ve never been given a scholarship in the first place, and definitely shouldn’t have taken up a scholly for 5 years.

Our offensive line needs more steroids and less baby faces

I feel like there should be more emphasis on getting some badasses as transfers on the OL. Doesn’t seem to be a priority for some reason.

1 first team all-conf
1 second team all-conf
1 honorable mention all-conf


2012: 1st team Long (Elkhorn,) 2nd team Sirles (Colorado), h/m Jackson (Norris/Roca)


3 OL from places we can (and should) easily be able to recruit and this should be standard that we hold our OL to

Yes.

Riaola is a technician and a savage.

He will fix the o-line technique issues and he will foster an environment in which our o-lineman are forced to become savages.

Yes, CT will be the starting QB in the fall (assuming there are no injuries). The real battle will be for QB #2...and I expect Purdy will win that too. I like Logan and appreciae how he has handled his business thus far at DONU, but I think his lack of overall arm strength doesn't allow him to be a P5 QB.

Yea Smothers wont get a fair shake for the #2 competition. Purdy is Whipples guy & once CT decides to leave, he’ll probably want him starting.

Verduzco’s scouting for QB was not at a P5 level & it says a lot with Haarberg not really being one of his guys & having the highest ceiling arm-wise. Wont surprise me if Torres comes to campus & doesn’t cut it.
