Rumor Casey Thompson?

is Casey even eligible to transfer again? Admittedly I lose track of how that would work with a guy who has that many years in college.
I think it's pretty much anything goes with graduates, because you know, academics first. Nebraska just has some programs you can't find at FAU. Or summer 2023 Nebraska, apparently.

He has to take up a scholarship here, yes?
He likely has to be a counter Unless he doesn’t get a scholarship or NIL. Maybe there is a way to be sure he would be considered non-recruited. E.g. he simply quits the FAU team and moves back to Lincoln and enrolls. I don’t know if they could get comfortable.

By 'comfortable' do you mean comfortable doing that & not feeling like they were breaking NCAA rules?

Makes a ton of sense then. Basically you’re an emergency QB, you get paid some NIL, work on your masters but in reality you’re a GA. It’s your job to help a young QB navigate being a QB in a fish bowl environment.

And then a year from now Nebraska gives you an actual GA job or gets you one somewhere else.

Gardner Minshew was going to do exactly this at Alabama until Wazzu offered him last minute.

Couldn’t really picture many better head coach’s to do it with too then Matt Rhule
