2022 Nebraska HC Board

There were red flags for Kiffin in last nights game, game management-wise too.

Still any one of these would be an improvement and Nebraska is a better job than where they’re at now.
Agree on ISU, Baylor, and Cincy, but would be curious to hear your thoughts on why you think Nebraska is a better job than Ole Miss.

I think it's more of a matter of preferences.

Ole Miss has access to talent, easy drive for lots of players and their families, SEC conference prestige.

But Ole Miss is at best the 4th best job in it's division and it's very unlikely ever produce a championship team, even if you're really really good. The bar to play in the games that matter at Nebraska is just much easier to clear. Your money is probably going to be about equivalent and Nebraska has had it's expectations ground down to nothing.

That said, idk that I'd leave Ole Miss for Nebraska right now

I'm rooting for this only because, I'd have access to the staff again. How much would be determined by his hires.
I don't know if he's right for the job or not. I don't know much about him personally. I just know Kalen DeBoer is a hell of a football coach.

Alright I did some research on Kalen DeBoer and he's my new #1 🤣
I just looked him up. Thought he had more P5 experience than just the one year at Indiana. But he's at least familiar with the B1G.

He did great stuff with Indiana that year IMHO was more important than what they did in 2020 (COVID yr).

Another guy Id take a look at is Jeff Hafley
I’m not sold on Hafley yet. Currently just above .500 so far almost 2 years into his first HC gig and in last place in a weak ACC.

I like Hafley and would be thrilled to see former Huskers Hero Joe Dailey come back to Lincoln with him, but it killed me that the write up included near wins

I'm still a little skeptical they'll fire Frost after this year even if we lose out. As someone said the way we lose out will be important. Does the team give up or do they just lose stupid like usual.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but why should that matter? Both are terrible and are indicative of how terrible this staff is.
