Dad music you now appreciate

Elvis, Buddy Holly, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, The Sadler Brothers, The Oak Ridge Boys and Glenn Miller are some of the names my dad listened to. When I was a kid, we would stay at The New Inn at Okoboji and my mom and dad would always go see Marilyn May and Dave Major & The Minors (regional cover band) up there . They always went to the Aksarben shows too along with Club 89. They made the rounds along with going to Vegas.

lol. I used to have a record of Tom T. Hall as a kid. The only reason I remember it was it was a cartoon.

Last I saw of Tom T. hall he was about 80 on stage with a beat up guitar and a string for a strap…but he still sounded the same.
