Dad music you now appreciate

Everything Is Fine Doctor GIF by Travis

Sorry for being a tPB oulde, but most of the music offered up ITT is stuff I listened to in my younger days, sans the Backstreet Boys stuff (daughter was a fan, son discovered music from my era on “Guitar Hero”).

Music from MY Dad’s era would include the Lennon Sisters, maybe some Guy Lombardo or other “Big Band” era orchestra, Sinatra, Tom Jones, Englebert Humperdink, and if they felt zippy, maybe some Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. That Herb Albert album cover was an all-timer for young LHR.

Exactly what my dad would listen to, even though it was after his time. He was born in 1938, but was never much into 50's and 60's music which would've been much more his era.

Interesting fact, my grandpa once played a cameo appearance with Lawrence Welk. He played the accordion. And it wasn't on his television show - just a local gig, but that's where the facts get murky. Nobody remembers if it was in studio in Yankton, SD or at a dance hall.
