All of it. Dad was a music nut. He went to over 50 RUSH shows, and I saw them 3 times with him.

The classic rock station 93.5 the Hawk in Columbus was the best in Nebraska, kinda sucks now with too much hair band bullshit.

But they can still pump the wattage to your cottage!

Out of curiosity, what is your type of music?
My tastes are all over the place, first major taste was the mid-2000’s pop punk/emo stuff (blink, Green Day, Senses Fail, Hawthorne Heights, etc, learned how to play guitar and bass on that stuff. Eventually this taste morphed into a lot heavier stuff now pretty big into metalcore, melodic hardcore and a touch of some deathcore stuff now, not really into slam hardcore, death metal or prog type stuff though. Volumes, Currents, Dayseeker, Counterparts, Lorna Shore all recent on my Spotify.

Got into country in high school originally on the bro radio stuff because I didn’t know any better but now pretty much only listen to the Texas country rock side of things like Koe, Treaty Oak, Kody West, Dylan Wheeler, etc.

Also when I was in high school was when Lil Wayne was at his height so listened to some rap stuff back in the day but not anymore, did get into so r&b stuff from this mainly early The Weeknd, Partynextdoor, Bryson Tiller, etc. Went through a raggae phase for a little bit with Iration, Stick Figure, etc.

Lots of other stuff I’ve gotten into over the years as well not mentioned. Music is definitely one of my passions but it’s kind of a double edged sword as I tend to get bored with it easily if I don’t mix up sounds and have gone through phases where nothing interested me. Actually flying out to Amsterdam end of next week for my birthday to see Sleep Token and Bilmuri live, two bands that have gotten me out of these funks with their refreshing and innovative sounds and that I never thought would tour together in a million years.

I just can’t connect with any music from before 2000 before I was old enough to experience what the time period was like. Classic rock specifically to me is super boring music sung by boomer hippies with terrible haircuts about driving their 69 Road Runner intertwined with boring jam band type guitar solos. Doesn’t help my dad is always blasting boomer radio whenever i go over there as well. Idk

I'm very similar to a lot here. Dad was a rock n roll nut and saw a lot of bands at their peak in Europe when he was stationed there. We've gone to a ton of shows together as well and love it. I have a hard time listening to new music, but there are some decent bands coming out that I actually like. Some of the newer groups I like are Des Rocs, Feel, Jason Scott and the High Heat, Dirty Honey.

Hair bands were one of the worst genres of rock. There was great metal and hard rock music in the early 80’s that succumbed to the hair bands that were top 40 friendly. It was music for the trashiest people that don’t have high standards for music.
