I would worry a bit w crypto giving the number of people (mostly whales) that have moved coins off exchanges and into private wallets. Great way to find some bagholders.

Bought this at $9 a year ago sold at $100 before the spike... I even checked the price when it was briefly at $500 so I could have caught it. I'm certain this coin has very little value but I love the crypto bubble machine.

I told him I wouldn't as they're selling their facilities and renting them back to get cash. No bank would touch them and iirc there were talks about what to do about bankruptcy.

Things could get spicy when they start to hit the maturity wall again in 2026, but when a company has all unsecured debt, you generally have pretty good options to refi that stack. The Garcias also have frequently participated in whatever offerings they've done (which is pretty unusual) so you have pretty clear mgmt buy-in to the story. I don't know that it's a BK bet until Ernie Sr. is no longer worth $15 billion.

Apple hasn't had an all-new product line that really amounted to anything since Jobs died. Their most successful new product launch since then was the AirPods, which is basically just a wireless version of the earbuds they were already selling.

But then again, AirPods alone are bringing in $14 billion a year, sooo...
