What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever eaten?

How was the sects? Aren’t those things supposed to get ur ole lady all fired up?
I think yore looking for the word “aphrodisiac”.

Out of respect for my bride I think I should carefully measure my response here.

That said, even at our advanced ages, oysters are not required (yet) to provide that “fired up” help. I’m a lucky boy/ (old fuck).

There ya go……😄

She’s an entree, to be sure.

Joe has had a couple moments of my time. I'm not eating the carp there either.
This old Beebeetown farm boy grew up going to Rudy’s, which was 1.5 blocks east of 24th & L. Same menu as JTs, just another option.

And they both had fresh-water tanks in their basements that held the live carp. Live and then less than an hour later, cleaned, breaded, fried and on yore plate.

Done right, the carp dinners at Rudy’s and Joe Tess’s was pretty damn good, imo. Fresh oil is always key.

What the fuck’s wrong with you two? Deer steak only sucks and I mean ONLY if it is over cooked! If it’s not near bloody in the middle you did it wrong. And I don’t mean that to sound like a badass that eats his beef only if it’s “mooing” or whatever beef eating badass cowboys say. Deer steak truly needs to be no more than 120-125.
brother that thing was 128, first bite was good, 5th bite i gave the rest to the dog. ive been eating homegrown beef my whole life, not eating that shit more than once a year

Deer and elk are both great. Antelope trash though. Only edible in summer sausage or some shit like that
Damn, the three buddies I hunt with the most and even my wife think antelope is better than deer. I think it’s the best wild game I’ve had.

Hear ya on the beef. It’s not a replacement for beef just like chicken, pork, pheasants and quail aren’t either. I’m not saying deer is better than beef. It’s different and it’s good.

I always heard that antelope sucked and tasted like sage. The year we went hunting for them it had rained a lot and there was better than average grass out west. The antelope we got tasted great in camp. Not sure if it were due to eating more grass or what but it was good. Probably just cooked it the right way, rare 😉

The old cattle feeder in me wants to suggest that eating FUCKING grass did not make that meat taste better.

Imo, of course.

Was in Thailand for jungle survival training. Between the bugs and live chicken and cobra blood, I don’t think my stomach wants to remember what I all ate.
I ate some Dried Squid from a Street Cart in Thailand. Big mistake. Life was rough for the next couple days. Ate quite a few strange things all over SE Asia but that one fought back something fierce.

Edit: I have eaten Mtn Lion, Water Buffalo, Alligator, Caribou, Ostrich,........ at restaurants in the US. All of them were good, just different. Elk or Antelope are probably my favorite wild game meats.
