Now that doesn't limit the impact of execution. You still have to make plays. And he's doing it easily. But I feel like people will be clamoring for him after Raiola hits some diversity, and then people will start shitting on LaTeef the first time he makes some mistakes.
Not going to happen with the exception of a small percentage of dipshits. Raiola is the number one and that's plain to see. My post was simply pointing out that we have a true talent as a back up for the first time in a very long time. This is the single most encouraging sign to me that Nebraska is truly getting back to being a good program. You can't control what the mouth breathers on the internet will say. But I'd rather them being idiots about us having true depth than not.

Lol, I just realized I typed diversity instead of adversity...

Six questions for this group:

1. Do you think Nebraska going into week 4 of 2025 is better than the greatest 3-9 team of all time in 2021?

2. Do you think Michigan going into week 4 of 2025 is better than their 12-2 team from 2021?

3. Do you think Michigan is better or worse now with Biff Poggi on the sideline instead of Harbaugh in 2021?

4. Do you think Nebraska has a better coaching staff with Rhule and company going into next weeks game when comparing it to Frost and staff in 2021?

5. Do you believe Nebraska now has better or worse offensive weapons than 2021?

6. Do you believe Michigan now has better or worse offensive weapons than they did in 2021?

Our field position disparity this year is so freaking good. Special teams deserve a lot of credit, but you can’t have good field position without an offense that consistently moves the ball and a defense that consistently gets stops. Good general indicator of team success.

Nebraska avg. SFP: 35.7 yard line
opponent avg. SFP: 22.2 yard line

+13.5 Net Field Position.

We’ve had 16 drives start past the 30.
Opponents have had 7 drives start past the 30.

We’ve had 7 drives start in opponents territory.
Opponents have had 0 drives start in our territory.

Sure we are much better than 2021. Michigan is worse than 2021. But the gulf between NU 2021 and Michigan 2021 was vast. We find out Saturday how much that vast gulf has closed.

It was a 3 point game in 2021.
Probably the best game we ever played under Frost too. What's your point? We still lost a game we had every chance to win. Our dipshit DC couldn't figure out after like five or six times they ran the same play to their tight end for a 1st down that the TE needed to be covered. I remember screaming at the TV when we had them in 3rd and 10 and they came out with the exact same formation that it was going to the TE. Sure enough 1st down easy peasy for them. We stop them on that play we most likely win.
