I think it has to do with them wanting to monetize their API. Also, Reddit just had protests because they limited access to their API. Companies make bank from the data provided, so the data generating companies are reining that in.

I think it has to do with them wanting to monetize their API. Also, Reddit just had protests because they limited access to their API. Companies make bank from the data provided, so the data generating companies are reining that in.

Yuuup, and Twitter's API entrenchment is so much worse than Reddit....might be something that Elon pays attention to maybe, idk?
