TT this morning

Proximity to home and playing time
And if he wants to stay close to home, it would probably be smart to see how this season goes under Frost and hold out on a commitment, but it Clemson does actually offer, I bet he jumps at it because they won’t wait around.

It would make for a great "early signing day" flip if he came back to the Huskers, tho. 😎

Wouldn't surprise me. Frost and co need to try to get him up to campus as many times as possible and highlight how easy it is to make it up to Lincoln for his family.

I'd probably go to Clemson if I didn't have allegiances to Nebraska but that's obviously a tougher road to get in the field.

If I was a kid from Kansas and had no allegiances to Nebraska and being close to home was a factor, I would probably stay in the Big 12. The travel distance to away games is much better for his family.

Oklahoma offer him?

Oklahoma offer him?
I just saw TCU and the Kansas schools up to this point. Cockeye State also has interest in him but no offer according to rivals. I would assume OU would come in with an offer. Hopefully one or multiple of our defensive coaches have a great relationship with the kid.

1. The golf coach left because Moos promised him a new facility to get him here...and that wasn't happening in the next 3-4 years. Sounds like a new aquatics center passed it up in terms of priority.
2. Moos did indeed put out feelers for the Pac-12 commissioner job...much like he did for the Nebraska job as soon as Eichorst was fired. He was quickly declined.
3. Don't be surprised if the BIG conference issues a mandatory vaccine policy for conference athletes.
4. Bill Busch needs to be recruiting coordinator. Part of the reason the 2022 class is looking grim is because Held, Dillon, and Mossbrucker are always a few steps behind other programs. In spite of COVID, we already had enough pre-established relationships that we pieced together a decent 2021 class, but now it's really hitting us in 2022. Busch would work wonders for our recruiting operation.

I'm sure I've got more, but I'll need to go through all my texts.

FWIW, Steve “Towel” Sipple just wrote an article where he said Moos was never contacted by the Pac-12. This is just semantics and word-smithing. It is technically true because Moos is the one that put out feelers for the position through an intermediary, not the other way around.

An all-timer for depressing news:
- Cooper Jewett in the top tier of RBs
- Vinny from North Platte might be the star of the recruiting class
- Janak is going to Clemson
- MJ Morris flaking out
- McGowans dropped in the final Rivals ratings
You forgot the “Deab holding strong as Chairman of the Neighborhood Watch Committee” update.

Jaren Kanak went 10.37 in the 100m yesterday. Makes me feel better than he went for 200 yds rushing against us at QB last year....when he had never played QB before that week.

Kid in the red top looks like a seriously mal-nourished third-world orphan compared to Kanak.....😲

I mean I don't see a defensive coach leaving because he is a weak link. I frankly hope we keep the defensive staff together as long as possible. Fisher seems most likely to leave but for good reasons not bad.

So do you fire Held, demote/fire/retire Mario, hire a better RB coach, make Busch special teams and recruiting bad ass?
RSS wants Ron Brown, of course.....😎

.

Yeah Ron Brown's name gets an immediate eyeroll from me BUT there's no doubt he had great results with RBs under Bo.
