Thoughts on Volleyball Day in Nebraska?

Why you gotta double down? You don't have a clue.

They pump crowd noise into the practice facility. Why do you think they spend 100 mil+ on these practice facilities.
Are we playing minnesota in a practice facility tomorrow or is the game in a stadium?

Its FOOTBALL season get the fuck off the FOOTBALL field

Would Saban let bama’s volleyball program hog the stadium for 6 days leading up to the first game?

Just bitching to bitch.

You'll see it more places now that Nebraska had success. Will only be places that will have good attendance like Texas, Wisconsin, etc.

I get that it's easier and brings more money to all of the Regent schools, but how the FUCK is this not against Pickle Smoochers? A game of this magnitude should be against the best local competition you can get.

Get UNO vs UNI

Wayne State vs UNK is a fantastic matchup and will still the show I'd assume.
Because fuck Pickle Smoochers

Cool, just don’t lay the court down in the football stadium 5 days in advance on a game week pls.

This is obviously going to be a very unique and special event Wednesday night. But it seems like the hype is getting to be a little much. On the OWH Pick Six podcast, the guys said this game — against UNO — is bigger and more important than winning a national championship. Which left me scratching my head a little bit.

A lot of people, OWH, BTN, etc. saying this is going to change women’s sports forever. The main thing I think it shows is how crazy Nebraska fans get about a winning team. I think it’s more of a statement about Nebraska fans than some grand commentary about women’s athletics.

And it is going to be cool to see volleyball with that kind of crowd, but there’s going to be a lot of people with a very crappy view of a far away court. No one will say that though.

I love that Nebraska is doing this, and I don’t mean to be blasphemous, but some of the buildup is a little weird, IMO.
Did the volleyball brats ever apologize for complaining about not getting eggs and bacon after their all-expenses paid trip to Brazil?

No, instead we rewarded them with domain over the football stadium for 6 days during game week

They are very oppressed

Time for me to go grumpy old man even though I'm not that old.....

I'm sick and tired of all the gimmicks in sports now.

Outdoor games for indoor sports.
Let's play in Ireland.
Let's play in Mexico.
Color Rush uniforms.
Camouflage let's jerk the military uniforms.
Throwback uniforms.
Blackout.
Whiteout.
Let's have teams who aren't from Nevada play in Vegas.
Let's play in Tokyo.
UFC fighter vs. an actual boxer in a boxing match.
Celebrity vs Boxer/UFC fighter.
Midnight BB practice with rappers performing.

On and on and on.....

Can't we just play sports?

*insert old man yells at cloud meme
Please tell me you are more fun to be around then that guy!

Anyone at the stadium know how full it is? I've talked to like 6 people today who said they bought tickets but couldn't go.

I'm wondering if since they were so cheap, people that can't go aren't even worried about reselling them
I was looking at couple days ago for my daughter. Cheapest were $50. A lot in the 100-200 range. How much were they originally?
