The Michigan spy

The Michigan State AD brought up a good point. How many players were hurt in games against Michigan because they knew where the play was going to be?

Even if there was one player hurt because they knew where the play was going to be, then Michigan did not care for any players on the field that day. Yeah, injuries happen, but when it's a level playing field, then injuries are random to a certain degree. But when one team knows exactly which play is coming, made the impact stop on that play and then caused an injury, that is against Michigan.

And to once again bring up Desmond Howard, while we just wanted to play football in 2020, what Michigan did was actually hurt players if any were hurt in the last two years playing against the Wolverines. And that it worse than what Nebraska could have ever done in 2020 when it came to player's health.
How about how many Michigan guys got drafted because they looked a whole lot better than what they actually are.

Are some NFL people feeling pretty burned right about now?

I can see the scouting reports being like....

"He's not the biggest or the fastest but he's always in the right spot. Super instinctual. Football IQ through the roof."

In an interview yesterday Rhule also brought up injuries. Remember we lost Singleton early in the Michigan game. Impacted not only that game but he is still out.

Also, you know what's complete bullshit about this...waving your hands in front of your face like Hutch does is pretty much the universal signal for screen...and then both DEs...don't get off on a pass rush...at all...and just stand there and wait for the screen to develop. Complete and utter bullshit. I hope those fucks get the death penalty.

Do you think it’s a good or bad thing that no discipline has come down yet? I keep thinking that every time they think they have the whole picture they find something else that Michigan did to cheat. That’s my hope anyway and you would think that would lead to greater discipline.

No idea. At first, I didn't think this was that big of a deal...but it's clearly morphing into one if all of this shit is true....after seeing that clip, that makes me rage. That's legit cheating.

I think it’s neutral right now. You don’t rush into penalties without proper evidence, especially for one of the bigger names in the conference at the current time.

But also, you don’t not want to punish a team that broke several rules to this degree. You put a bad image to the conference and make yourself look bad in front of the rest of the schools.

The godfather of sports media is now calling for Michigan blood. Death penalty coming soon.

I think Michigan should get punished hard for the last few seasons, Desmond get fired for his biased opinions, Jim get a freeze on being hired in any football level team, and Michigan should have their ‘97 shared NC forfeited.

I really don't get this argument. The entire team cheated - they were all complicit in this BS.
If the young men don't get to play in a bowl game they cheated their way into qualifying for, I'm not gonna lose any sleep any over it.
