Stoops was going to coach again in the XFL before it collapsed due to COVID. He still wants to coach, just not sure at the college level. He was going to have complete control in XFL and not sure he would get that in college?

I have a bad feeling that this next hire will shatter a lot of peoples' illusions about NU's place in the college football world. Doesn't mean we can't get an upgrade, but I'll be absolutely shocked if we end up with anybody in the current top-tier.
