A couple weeks ago. At that time, it sounded like Frost had the support of everyone. I’m unsure what the situation is now after Minnesota. What I found interesting though is he said that IF, big IF, there is to be a coaching change, Bob Stoops is the name being thrown around in these circles of people. I talked to this guy about a week before Frost hiring was made public and he was spot on with what his contract was going to be, so I tend to believe him. Take it for what it’s worth, just figured I’d pass it along. GBR!

Stoops is a good coach, but it doesn't look like he has the fire any more. It looked that way his last few years at OU, too. Combine that with his dad dying on the sidelines and there's no way he comes out of retirement.

The time to hire Stoops was 1998 and TO fucked that up

I have a bad feeling that this next hire will shatter a lot of peoples' illusions about NU's place in the college football world. Doesn't mean we can't get an upgrade, but I'll be absolutely shocked if we end up with anybody in the current top-tier.
