I can’t believe some countries and cities/states did not learn anything from the past 21 months.
Countries locking down, States/Cities imposing orders (ex: no non-emergency surgeries) despite everybody who has worked on the “Nu” saying it’s milder than Delta, which was milder than the first wave…which is exactly how all Flu viruses act.
The economy hasn’t come close to recovery, let alone the populations. (some closer than others) The example I gave above about Gov Hochul ordering a ban on elective surgery. The State Government will once again halt medically necessary surgeries such as: organ transplants, Orthopedic work, other normal routine preplanned surgeries and add to the already preexisting back log of surgeries from when they foolishly did this last year.
All for the mildest version of Covid yet… this is not sustainable. The time has come for some level of accountability, the various Federal/State/Local governments simply cannot be allowed to repeat what they did in 2020 and 2021.

FTC sues to block Nvidia's $40 billion Arm deal
The FTC on Thursday filed suit against Nvidia to block its proposed acquisition of Arm.
I'm definitely happy about this, I'd MUCH rather have ARM remain independent.
