Stock Market/Investing/Day Trading/Speculative Trading Thread

These people are absolute psychos, but they've been direct registering their shares which according to them, makes them unavailable to short sellers. There's also a cult like environment about never selling or waiting for an astronomical number. Will be interesting to see.

Tariffs are ghey
Not a fan either, but China's government literally supports EVERY industry with their currency manipulation to foster competitive imbalance, and they have a whole lotta tariffs in place to protect the stuff they want to dominate in.

Let's see if Joe (or whoever is managing him) is smart enough to invest those tariff proceeds into the items we're raising the rates on with China (e.g. chip manufacturing).

There are numerous mechanisms to limit imports, levy quotas, or legally challenged trade...but enacting tariffs makes one a super ghey, imo.

Inflation report = last month's #'s. Look at commodity prices since these measurements were recorded. Next month's PPI and CPI #'s are gonna HAVE to look "inflationary" because raw material costs continue to increase.

Just on annual compositions and seasonality alone, CPI is going up the next three months...and probably successively.
