Would data centers count as industrial construction for this purpose?I'd love to see that broken down by industry. I'd bet a huge part of that is the new semi-conductor plants being built. here in Phoenix I think there is something like $60-80 billion worth of plants currently under construction or planned
My sister and her husband are attempting to build a YUGE new home way up in the snooty section of Scottsdale. Their concrete estimate just jumped by $80K due to the new semi-conductor plant construction. ALL of the concrete in the Phoenix metro is essentially earmarked for those jobs and it has absolutely jacked the price of mud sky high. Incredible.I'd love to see that broken down by industry. good question, I'm not sureWould data centers count as industrial construction for this purpose?
when it started I saw an article that broke down the scale of that operation and it was insane. It was the largest construction project in the US at the time and iirc just the foundation alone was several hundred million dollars worth of concrete. then halfway into construction they announced a phase 2 that would double the size of the project. My sister and her husband are attempting to build a YUGE new home way up in the snooty section of Scottsdale. Same thing happening in Texas, Ohio, New York, Idaho, etc...it's insane. It's not just Manufacturing either, it's pretty much across the board, though it's certainly moderating in most levels. Meanwhile, residential...lolI'd love to see that broken down by industry. Brother was getting started in investing at the beginning of this year and asked me about carvana...
I told him I wouldn't as they're selling their facilities and renting them back to get cash. No bank would touch them and iirc there were talks about what to do about bankruptcy.
Also live look at me
