So um, Bourbon thread? Yeah, Bourbon Thread.

I’ve tried the Holladay after @Scott Hall recommended it, it’s not too bad. I’ve had the Penelope toasted bourbon, that was OK but not my favorite. I usually like toasted but not Penelope. Never tried the Bardstown, is it available regularly in Lincoln? Holladay and Penelope I’ve found pretty easily at WBS and Wall2Wall. Mostly I just want the Wellers to try them and I’ll probably look for a bottle or sample of Bardstown now also.
Bardstown just started distributing to Nebraska in the last week or so. Fairly sure I saw a pic of wall2wall in Lincoln having the whole lineup. Did you try the red soft wheat from Holladay? That’s their only wheater. Larceny is another wheater that’s easily obtainable. I also enjoy Rebel barrel proof, which is also a wheater.

There are a handful of different Holladay, so look for the Soft Red Wheat if you like wheaters. They have a bottled in bond and Rickhouse proof, I believe.
Penelope Toasted is going to be entirely different than their Wheated, which is pretty new.
I have no idea of the availability of Bardstown in NE. I live in MO, and we just got it toward the end of last year. I used to get it in IL.

I grabbed a bottle of the soft red wheat from Cornhusker bottle shop a few weeks ago. It’s pretty good too. Also found myself a bottle of Kentucky Owl Takumi Edition there, that is an excellent bottle but it’s expensive.
