Because when you have a bottom 5 coaching staff in the country, virtually every coach is an upgrade. Patterson is an upgrade. Doesn't mean he's a good coach. Hence the potato.

Well bottom line is they're still both upgrades. If that's all we can get to come here that's what we have to role with. Most won't come here because they won't get past 4 or 5 seasons before they're fired and Nebraska needs a lot more time than that.
