Yep, but it very well could. If it goes beyond next weekend, it either means something very good or something incredibly bad.
Or it’s someone coaching in a conference championship. That's really bad because it does kinda indicate we are scrambling.

I’m sure a lot of fan bases are not equipped. It’s human nature. Darwinism. Some are built different. Some are not. I’m sure it’s not Nebraska specific. Our fan base is simply not built to go 70 days with basically ZERO information on this thing.
OR...Turd is a tater. If he knows who it is, that means people outside the Athletic department have forced the decision.
Because when you have a bottom 5 coaching staff in the country, virtually every coach is an upgrade. Patterson is an upgrade. Doesn't mean he's a good coach. Hence the potato. Not sure what the potato thing is. But if you're in disagreement it's hard to argue with where we're sitting.

How would that mean something good?
2 AA!1 AA and a Samoan ain't gonna cut it in Lincoln.
Well shit, just about anybody would've been an upgrade. Both upgrades
Yesterday when he said it isn't going to be Rhule. Then the day before that when he said keep an eye on Rhule. Then the day before that when he said the smoke is fading on Rhule.Seriously, when was the last time Sip reported anything?
Give me an offensive staff of this:
OC: Scott Fuchs
QB: Randy Hedberg (older guy, NDSU QB coach since 2014, let him come in and teach Fuchs how to coach QBs for a couple years if he'll leave NDSU)
RB/Recruiting Coordinator: Mike Grant (former QB same time as Mickey, has been a solid RB and WR coach in his career)
WR/Associate HC: Mickey Joseph
FB/TE: Brian Lepak (current role at KSU)
OL: Conor Riley (Omaha kid)
Be 6 offensive coaches, give one of them special teams role, maybe Lepak. Klieman has a defensive background so i'm sure he'll help out there more anyways.
DC/S: Joe Klanderman (current role at KSU)
DL: Mike Tuiasosopo (life long DL coach, well respected)
LB: Steve Standard (Nebraska guy and NDSU connections)
CB: Bill Busch
Would give the team a nice foundation. And honestly be the "Nebraska connections" Nebraska needs.
Could go past next weekend and be Kleiman. If you’re hoping for the USC/Riley type of hire which would be on brand for this search firm you’re hoping it goes past next weekend.
So if it is announced next week lance Leopold if not then klineman.Or it’s someone coaching in a conference championship.
Or our nation’s biggest rivalry game on 12/10It could mean it’s someone coaching in a conference championship game.
