You'll have to show me where I said this class was better. First of all the first signing day is 6 months away. 2nd don't have the advantage of being able to take 28 kids and completely whiffing on over half of them. 3rd they don't suit up for their first game for a year and a half.Wandale, Ty Rob, and Nick Henrich are head and shoulders better than anything we have committed and Rhule has been singing the praises of Benhart and Piper all spring. Dedrick Mills sucked? Garret Nelson and Vokolek sucked?
I don’t see any signs pointing at this class being better than our 2019 class. I’m glad you feel different. I wish i had your optimism.
What is a fact is that Frost had all of the momentum a head coach could have coming into a 4-8 team. Had the ability to take a very large class and there is no metric a sane person could look at in hindsight and say "That's a good class!"
I really like Danny and am optimistic he has a good career at Nebraska. I'm also fully aware I'm biased.
Probably don't have anyone in the class currently that will have the same success as Wandale but of course he transferred.
Outside of Wandale being better than the 2019 class is a pretty low bar. 9 starters that are capable of going 5-7. That doesn't mean they sucked. There's a few average players that might be in the two deep of the bottom half of other P5 teams.
