No, but Nelson isn't exactly a big social media attention seeker. Its quite possible he was just tweeting a bible verse without any intent behind the timing.
I completely missed the bible verse. You have to click on the photo to see it, which I didn't do at first.
The verse makes it a little more ominous, IMO, talking about which path to take.

His position coach is gonna be gone next year, so that puts a fair amount of uncertainty in Nelson's future. I wouldn't personally read a lot of subtweet vibes into that verse beyond that.

We also need to keep in mind - dropping a new OC with 3 games to go is a WILD hail mary for anything to be salvaged this year. But a wise one in my opinion

I think everyone's frustration has been that we STILL have no identity offensively. we cannot point to one thing and say "we do that"

Holgorsen's identity might very well not work - but having one and not liking it is far better than not having one at all. God I hope Dana stays for a long haul.

I have long wished that we would go the "rehab" route for Coordinators a la Saban's restructuring when his offenses weren't good enough. Then we see Sark, Kiffin, O'Brien, Locksley, Daboll.

I thought in the bye week nugs he was back to normal??

That’s awesome. But I don’t see it changing much for the season outlook.
But maybe they’ll scrap the screens and move a little faster

It’s a sign that Rhule holds everyone accountable. Just because you’re a friend doesn’t change the fact that the offense was stagnant and a change was needed. If a player isn’t cutting it on the field they get changed out.
It’s not bad to panic sometimes. Didn’t say it was a bad move. But hiring an OC from outside the program with 3 games left is a panic move.
