His TE coach isn’t getting canned though. He’s staying at least for the end of the year.
It wouldn’t shock me at all if Satt restructured his contract and stayed on as TE coach. You can’t overstate how hard Satt has been cucked, but I don’t think he cares. I think he likes working for Rhule, Rhule likes him, and if he connects with his players and they still trust him, then nothing else matters.

That's going to be a massive paycut though. $1.4 mil. No way you pay a TE coach anywhere close to that amount. I think he's gone after this season but that's just speculation.

he'll take a massive paycut regardless. He'd make more as a TE coach at Nebraska (assuming normal salary) than he could make as a FCS HC. That being said, they bought a house in SC that cost a third of what his Lincoln house sold for, so he might have factored in a large paycut.

Agree. Totally think he’d be happy making 1/3 of that $1.4M. He and Rhule’s relationship is not at all typical of most assistants and I think they both place a lot of value in it.
