Rees Offered $2M/year to be Bama’s OC

They are already falling, Georgia will continue beating Saban
I thought Saban was going to take a step back when Gus got him a couple times. I would still never bet against him. Saban also just landed one of the best recruiting classes ever on paper

I don't get this move at all. ND was pretty pedestrian under Rees. I get that Alabama has more to work with, but they should have their pick of OC's they want and they go with Rees?

If you thought Bama couldn't get worse than taking Frost as OC, you were apparently wrong.
I think Frost would be a solid OC with Saban if he was as willing to put in the work.

I actually do agree he'd do well there. I think career P5 OC is the best option for Frost really.
He would certainly help Bama scheme up a run game. He probably wouldn't have to do much to recruit and could afford a golden tee arcade at home so he wouldn't be distracted at work.

A lot of people thought Pelini would do good at LSU the second time around as well.

I am just not sold on Frost at all. The successful offenses he had were predicated on having a very elite QB running them. He would probably get that at a place like Bama, but he will always be overrated IMO.

Pelini might have been a failure regardless at LSU, but he was set up for failure going into the covid year. He was installing a totally new defense over zoom.

Surprising that wouldn’t work. He seems like a guy who can easily accept and adapt to changing circumstances.
