Playoffs Thread

It was definitely targeting by the rule, and also by what is called on the field 99% of the time. Then you take the video review into account - they didn't want Texas out of the playoffs. Texas was more talented by a ways than ASU, but that call was a huge one. That being said, ASU still had opportunities to win after that and couldn't.

It’s Phil Knight and he will just give more.
I was talking about the Ohio State guys getting their checks put on hold after losing to Michigan. Or maybe they a get a bonus for winning playoff games. Who knows.

Even if they get that call that would have put them at the Texas 37 so they needed at least 10 yards to get kicker to a 40ish yard FG. Their FG kicker was complete ass so it's not like that call guarantees them the win.

I get that, and thought I addressed it in my post. It should have been called, would have been called almost any other scenario. But yes, ASu had to yet move the ball more and then with a more than iffy FG kicker it was a crapshoot. Still an awful no call IMO.

The real play of the game was selling out on the blitz when they should have played coverage or maybe just brought one extra guy.

Oregon shouldn't have been in the playoff - SEC

When Oregon comes back and wins, then tOSU shouldn't have been in - SEC

Joey Galloway is better than most of the guys ESPN trots out there. He's 100x better than Desmond.

Nothing would ring in the New Year better than Ryan Day blowing a 34 point lead in the Rose Bowl.
Honestly wouldn't surprise me.

Tater Farm was probably putting a nail in Oregon when OSU was up 7-0.

Crazier things have happened. A stop at the end of the half would have ended it for sure.
They get the ball to start the second half. Score fast, get a stop, get another score and we could be looking at a 10 point game in the 3rd quarter.

If anyone is a big enough beta to fuck this up, it’s Ryan Day.

I will always savor the absolute panic meltdown he went into when there was a real chance the Huskers were going to win this year....Too bad we just didn't have the coaches or horses to get it done.

I’m not a Ryan Day hater, but there are no excuses for not winning it all this year. I’m not saying I would fire him if he doesn’t, but he has the best team by far.
