Somebody definitely mentioned Mo Washington as a comparison, I'm honestly not sure if it was Dean or someone he was responding to or something though. But it's gone now. That’s what everyone is getting all worked up over?

I’m not one that is going to stick up for Dean, but are we not forgetting last year? One practice and all of last year would be more of an accurate statement. Hopefully Dean is overblowing this, but…"Let's call it what it is. He a guy that was forced to leave TCU after one year and then go JUCO. We've never talked to Omar once. There's so much mystery that surrounds him.”
This was the quote that I had issue with. Dean insinuating A LOT here based on Omar missing 1 practice this week. He still hasnt responded in the TT thread about this quote.
I know @Driveway Jordan mentioned it here. Whether or not Deab did I can't say. I never even read the chat.Somebody definitely mentioned Mo Washington as a comparison, I'm honestly not sure if it was Dean or someone he was responding to or something though. But it's gone now.
The only exception I'll make to this is if we are up by 50 points and they give him a few token snaps. If Liewer plays, let alone starts, I will flip the fuck out.
Ah gotcha maybe I was mixing up boards hahaI know @Driveway Jordan mentioned it here. Whether or not Deab did I can't say. I never even read the chat.
Just what I was told in regard to team rules are more lenient for Omar than the rest of the team…which hasn’t gone unnoticed in the lockerroom.I know @Driveway Jordan mentioned it here. Whether or not Deab did I can't say. I never even read the chat.
Not saying last year and missing practice recently isnt an issue with Omar but why bring up him being forced out of TCU after 1 year? Just seems like a dumb statement by Deano to me. Oh and sorry Omar doesnt want to do interview with you DeanI’m not one that is going to stick up for Dean, but are we not forgetting last year? And even if you are too incompetent to network effectively, at least pay/bribe someone to give you information!I didn’t really believe that Lembrecht was his contact within the program because I honestly thought to myself that there’s no way that one person who’s done this for 20 years could possibly only have one contact. Now, it’s pretty clear that it’s absolutely true. Which it’s still insane to me. Even the most incompetent business development or sales reps have more than one networking contact within their industry if they’ve done it long enough. You should be able to stumble upon a few over the years.
If I owned that business day one I would have focused on networking within the university and making relationships with people who will be there long term. Information is what you’re selling. So if a staff gets fired, that faucet can’t shut off. So you have to have big time contacts within the university. Not overly hard to do for a dude who’s been around as long as he has I wouldn’t think.
I’m literally floored at the incompetence here. Sorry, but this is an absolutely cringeworthy business practice.
Next, the shit about Omar really pisses me off today. It doesn’t sit well with me when someone says things like he did today without very solid cause about the kids.
That's not surprising.Just what I was told in regard to team rules are more lenient for Omar than the rest of the team…which hasn’t gone unnoticed in the lockerroom.
Fair. I love how Deab is trying to play it off as “He’s forcing the coaches to play him.”The only exception I'll make to this is if we are up by 50 points and they give him a few token snaps.

Bottom fucking line is that if your white walk on from WE from O’Neil is playing you are screwed .
The problem, for me, is that he constantly espouses his ‘code’ of not slinging rumors that hurt an individual, aren’t verified, etc.,. There have been many times where he’s holding back info from his subscribers and tells us later that it wasn’t his place or some shit like that. Yet, he broke his own rules this time and can’t figure out why people are upset.I’m not one that is going to stick up for Dean, but are we not forgetting last year? I may be in the minority here, but I actually disagree. Now, if he's the leader, that's a problem. But I think he's a solid 4th or 5th guy. I don't think he's ever gonna be quite Brandon Reilly level, but as far as walk on go, he's got good size and athleticism that I could see him on a Todd Peterson level.Fair. The culture is still a work in progress.Just what I was told in regard to team rules are more lenient for Omar than the rest of the team…which hasn’t gone unnoticed in the lockerroom.
If true and continues down this path will eventually lead to some player disconnect and Culture problems again. Hopefully doesn't go that far. Obviously, Omar is a freak athlete that plays reciever (allegedly, still need to see him on the fuckin field). Can we not have a couple early plays designed to get him easy, early touches? If he's that freakish of an athlete but has mental problems that lead to confidence issues if he has one bad play.....just give him 2 early chances in the game. If it doesn't go well and he folds, put the next freak out there.Just what I was told in regard to team rules are more lenient for Omar than the rest of the team…which hasn’t gone unnoticed in the lockerroom.
There’s also a bit of a difference between trying to help keep a guy who seems to be well-liked but has struggled with mental health on the field compared to ignoring the behavior of a guy like Maurice Washington who is just a bad human being. If true and continues down this path will eventually lead to some player disconnect and Culture problems again. More talented players always get a longer leash just about everywhere. I just laugh when coaches talk about building a culture and recruiting only high character guys. Every team has knuckleheads. If true and continues down this path will eventually lead to some player disconnect and Culture problems again. Hopefully doesn't go that far. Fair enough and I agree with your take. I give you Lawrence Phillips, Christian Peter, Fabian Washington and Johnny Rogers. With those names said I also understand they had already shown their potential on the field compared to Omar only being a myth at this point. Those players at that time were in a way better program with obviously a winning culture. Maybe Scott is rolling the dice here because he knows the potential and needs the possible stats and outcome Omar can provide?View attachment 4556
No longer GAF… no player is bigger than a team, and no players is irreplaceable. Move on…addition by subtraction.
