You can post the crime stats all you want but that doesn’t change that fact that you will be safe in the majority of America (the parts most visitors visit) if you’re half way smart, and not looking for trouble. Only around 24% of violent crime is random crimes to strangers with the largest part of those being burglary and rapes, which I don’t think you have to worry about while you’re visiting KC.

This really is an underrated take… The people you hate have a significantly diminished probability of being brutally raped and murdered in a dark alley if we crack down on violent crime.
