Is the consensus here that Frost has just never mentioned to our punt returners that they shouldn’t field a punt at the 3 yard line while running into their own end zone? Things like that, Martinez fumbling, missing open receivers, Tannor’s roughing penalty aren’t happening because Bret is a better coach. At some point you have to realize that Frost isn’t playing Madden here… these guys have to execute on their own. They’ve been in plenty of positions to do that so far, but they haven’t.One team is making the same mental mistakes it has made for the past three seasons under the same HC. One team with a new HC is somehow making less. Advantage definitely not Frost there.
Seriously, if you were to watch the game with knowing nothing and you had to pick out the team with the first year HC, which would it be?
That last play of the half was definitely a doozy. You could have easily had your starting QB knocked out.
All execution at this point. And we can still win this by two touchdowns. Long way from being over.Agreed, Frost is coaching circles around BB and our players are at fault
Just summed up the post game press conference for everyone
I was on the go get Milton bandwagon before the season. Maybe he wouldn’t have came, but I would have begged him if I was Frost. We would be ahead with him right now. He could make the simple passes with a bad knee and all.Yeah, it's basically torture at this point.
I think Cam just wants to make a playIs the consensus here that Frost has just never mentioned to our punt returners that they shouldn’t field a punt at the 3 yard line while running into their own end zone? Got it. Radio obv made it sound like an unbelievable call
That’s what we do. History just keeps repeating itself.Nebraska is losing this game
Illinois isn't winning it
The only way to make the argument that we’re getting out coached is if you say “head coach recruits the players so their failures are the coach’s responsibility.”I think Cam just wants to make a play
Tannor was a little too juiced up
Yeah that epitomizes everything reallyI just could not believe they snapped it with 1 second left... What was the goal, another scoop and score? Lol
What about coaching fundamentals? The only way to make the argument that we’re getting out coached is if you say “head coach recruits the players so their failures are the coach’s responsibility.”
Anyone in the world knows you don't field a punt inside the 10 yard line, even Biden!I think Cam just wants to make a play
Tannor was a little too juiced up
