I’m with kaladin here….. just a personal preference but I’m ready for baseball season now. I’m not a big basketball fan in general but I will follow Nebraska basketball just because of the N. If I had “fuck you” money I would donate a shit ton of NIL money more to baseball than basketball.

He's not expected to be a weekend arm. After the fall it's Mac, Horn, Brockett/Walsh.

Maybe he's throwing game 4 against GCU to open the season, but that'd be weird to hold him out all weekend for Monday.

Walsh is strictly pitching this year right? Any chance they even allow him to DH in select situations?

Same as 2023. Childress wants to use him 2 times a weekend (pen) instead of 1 (starter). This also gives us an option to use him during the week, pending his previous weekend load.
