Baseball Official 2025 Nebraska Cardiac Beaver Slayers Baseball Thread - (33-29) - BACK TO BACK BIG TEN CHAMPIONS

Wonder how much they put on his plate, Kid caught 250 innings last year but there are 485 innings to catch this year. Hogan caught 44 games last year, so If they give this kid 44 games that is still 396 innings to catch, and with him leading off are we just not going to have our leadoff hitter for 20+ games? Kid might play twice as many games than he ever has in the spring.

They eased Nunez in last year and he finished with 41 games played, and eased Sanderson the year before into 43 starts
Yeah I would hope a true frosh isn't catching 400+.

Honestly let him catch 35ish and hit him DH a few other times.

But obviously a lot of this depends on how the season plays out.

I just don't want people expecting him to be Mike Piazza when the kid is only 18.

I hope we aren’t having serious conversations about him moving to first…
