Will already on the Rhule-Aid for next year

We really should be 5 and 1, at worst 4 and 2 after the first 6 games. One can argue we could be 6 and 0. But 3 and 3 wouldn't be surprising.

You really can't make this shit up. But it matches the eyeball test - we pull incredible losses out of our asses, in what I believe is a record manner in doing so, for many, many years ongoing right now. It is absolutely mind boggling and basically also pretty much mathematically impossible how a team could pull SO MANY close losses out of their asses for about a decade now. Call it the simulation, or whatever - this has been an unprecedented decade of pulling losses out of so many "should be" wins going by mathematical percentages - that you could probably ever find in college football.

I think that's what's crazy about the last 10ish years, it's almost mathematically impossible for us to have been as bad as we've been. And to lose in such absurd ways or by such thin margins so consistently.

LOL, I hadn't even read your post yet when I made mine. I agree - all but mathematically impossible to pull so many close losses out what should have been close wins.

If you showed me that ahead of time I would be less surprised to find out players were throwing games than that those results happened naturally.

Exactly. Much higher chance players were throwing games than the incredible amount of ways we have found to lose close games, that were damn near locks mathematically late in games. Going on for a decade now.

And I don't think players throwing games has been happening or been the problem. It honestly has never crossed my mind. Because one can tell if that is the case over a long enough span if it is happening.

I think this team has a losing mentality - they expect to lose. So much, that they invent ways to lose, going on for a decade now.

I’ve been thinking about this too the past couple days. It would make a ton of sense if they were throwing games. How else do you explain us being so good at losing and doubling up? the 2nd place total turnovers team?

Someone needs to investigate our players and coaches regarding gambling. Wouldn’t hurt IMO.

I am 99% certain that the 2007 team was doing just that.

They also have lacked enough players that can make big game changing plays on both offense and defense.

Even Cockeye who does nothing but try and manufacture wins still has plenty of guys at RB, TE, and secondary players that can flip a game.
