It’s either fits of rage or uncontrollable laughter, embarrassment and despairGlad to hear I'm not the only that flies into fits of rage when Nebraska sucks.

I grew out of that in 2020 and turned to staring blankly into a wall for who knows how longGlad to hear I'm not the only that flies into fits of rage when Nebraska sucks.
Minn was the interception/fumble right before half returned for a td.I want to say option 1 because the very acute pain suffered is the most memorable. For example when we had that retarded punt get returned against Michigan State I fucked up one of the reclining seats on my couch in a fit of rage.
However option 2 is a similar level of pain that is dispersed over multiple hours. Nothing really stands out about it looking back, but I know the whole experience was very torturous.
The conclusion is that Nebraska football lets us experience the entire spectrum of pain. Dying and going to hell would be a pretty easy transition for a Nebraska fan. It’s probably not much different.
ya we are gonna go 11-1 or 8-4There have been too many kicks to the dick the last 21 years; to even be remotely optimistic this season will be different is just asinine. I'd love nothing more than for this season to be 9-3 or 10-2 and have some joy watching this team...but we all know what is going to happen unfortunately.
"You do realize Mike Riley coached at Nebraska before Frost and that COVID was a thing, yes?"I like watching when people go down the schedule predicting wins and loses and say things like, “Illinois, win, Rutgers, yeah easy win, Northwestern win, Minnesota another win”
Nebraska has 3 wins 6 losses against Illinois Minnesota and Northwestern the past three seasons. You can’t assume anything anymore. Offer that stat up to the “we’re close” crowd and see what they say.
I mean it's too late to save either of your feet from the beetus so you might as well enjoy yourselfYes I was eating a big bowl of ice cream at the time. Fuck you @Baron Winnebago

There are still White Knights out there blaming everything possible and not putting any of this on our former star QB Frost. It has gotten so bad that I record most of the games and watch them later. Some I just delete if we lose because of the usual bone headed mistakes. I don't enjoy watching poorly coached teams.I like watching when people go down the schedule predicting wins and loses and say things like, “Illinois, win, Rutgers, yeah easy win, Northwestern win, Minnesota another win”

i did the math the other day when some window fogger on RRS said that we would win at least 2 of 4 versus Minn, Mich, Cockeye and Wisc. HCSF is 1-12 vs those four teams since his magical return to his alma mater.I like watching when people go down the schedule predicting wins and loses and say things like, “Illinois, win, Rutgers, yeah easy win, Northwestern win, Minnesota another win”

I've brought that stat up a couple times... It's breathtaking.i did the math the other day when some window fogger on RRS said that we would win at least 2 of 4 versus Minn, Mich, Cockeyes and Wisc. HCSF is 1-12 vs those four teams since his magical return to his alma mater.
Pitts offense ran the ball 525 times and passed it 544 times last year so you are probably rightI'm sure it will be different here.
Season R/P ratio isn’t a great barometer of the offenses’ actual %age. RPOs and score of games. I’d like to see what it was when the games are close.Pitts offense ran the ball 525 times and passed it 544 times last year so you are probably right
Yes. Plus, even if this was a true barometer, do we really want it 50-50 anyway??Season R/P ratio isn’t a great barometer of the offenses’ actual %age. RPOs and score of games. I’d like to see what it was when the games are close.
I used to think 50/50 split was a nice goal to achieve. But to me, it doesn't mean a whole lot. Can you distribute the ball somewhat equally to your skill players. Obviously you'll have one or two guys you might favor, but that's true balance, however you get them the ball.Yes. Plus, even if this was a true barometer, do we really want it 50-50 anyway??
