A source said the meeting, which included Sallis and his parents, was “as good as it could have been.”

In fact, the Huskers might be in significantly better standing than they were when the former Millard North star initially entered the portal last week.

It sounds like the 6-foot-5 combo guard will continue to evaluate his options through this week but is close to trimming down a final list. As it stands today, I’d expect the Huskers to make the cut.

Not only that, look for NU to get an official visit from Sallis before his makes his decision. The weekend of the football spring game on April 21-23 is a likely target date.
