I would bet us and a lot of other schools will have NIL problems anywhere from rumorville to Florida's very public one.

Kid doesn't get paid as much as he thinks he should can have a variety of reasons. Kid is basing what his amount should be on the max scenario of the contract(s). NIL company intentionally misleads what the max is. Kid doesn't follow through with obligations. NIL company shadily interprets the contract. Etc etc

Bottom line if the kid is good enough/contributing the NIL will get fixed or he was transferring anyway chasing more money. If he's not contributing it doesn't get fixed.

There was a huge change in Dawson almost overnight. He went from getting on the floor in a pretty good role to basically not playing at all. There was something there. Not saying it was or wasn’t NIL. Just that something is amiss.

I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't just that the coaches realized his offensive skills weren't to the level needed to keep defenders honest at the Power5 Level. Bogging down our offense. Plus then adding in the improved play of Keisei, Lawrence & Hoiberg later in the season eating up his minutes. Dawson overall shot 34% from the floor and averaged 1.7 pts/game. Teams could sag off him on defense without worry. He had a stretch of 11 consecutive games during the B1G Conference play where he logged double digits minutes every game and he still averaged less than 3 pts/game. In 4 B1G games where he played over 10 minutes he didn't even score. Towards the end of the season it was almost like he went into the Witness Protection Program barely seeing the court.

I looked it up and we were 3-8 against the B1G when Dawson played 10 minutes or more. 6-3 against the B1G when Dawson didn't play or was limited to single digit minutes. Win/Loss numbers don't support playing him much last season.

The idiotic OnThree NIL valuation figures can't help. "Hey, OnThree's pulled-out-of-their-ass formula says I should be getting X and I'm only getting Y! I'm getting screwed!"
I have no idea why OnThree thinks these NIL valuations are something fans are interested in enough to make it one of the main things they promote on their site.

I'm not sure of all of the names involved but hear the names Peeds, Pillen, Claire, Green, Bounds, Hausman & Bruning brought up by some of the other boosters who aren't happy with their influences on our athletics program. Basically the same group that was pushing Turd to hire Mickey, Leipold or Monken as we could get them on the cheap compared to a Rhule, Fickel, Kiffin....

Was the group of people that were dead set on appeasing TO/the Nebraska Way/hiring Nebraska guys/Running the option/Walk-ons are the lifeblood of our program/Passing is for pussies/Frost needs at least a decade/Squats!/etc

Heard some of the behind the scenes shenanigans that went on with Pelini, Riley, & Frost involving AD's, some of which they were involved with. Speculation Bounds was the Fall Guy for some things that went on behind the scenes with Frost like his unwarranted Contract Extension that was forced on AD Moos.

Why does one leave the position of UNL President to go to a small school like South Alabama as a $110,000/yr professor? Only to be brought back to Nebraska 18 months later for $250,000/year for 3 years funded by "Private Donors" to be a Consultant for Fundraising? Claire was part of the group who brought him back. Who do you think the donors were? I was getting info from some very connected people who were "Anti-TC" that expressed concerns about those and many other shenanigans going behind the scenes. I think our state senator Mike Groene even publicly had questions as to what was going on with bringing Bounds back. Many were under the impression Green & Bounds were partially puppets for some of the people we label as TC'ers. I will say that I'm glad we have Ted Carter now as President & Turd as AD.

I'm so tired of the bickering between our groups of boosters as it is hurting our beloved Huskers. Wish they could put egos aside and get on the same page. I'm also tired of some of our boosters using our program to their political & financial profit.
