Ask @LoudHogRider to post pics of the sweet potato fries with marshmallow dipping sauce. A guilty pleasure like no other. Great burgers, solid selection of craft beers and a long list of various mules, etc. Probably not worth a 320 mile drive but who knows when you find yoreself in the Omaha area.

I had the BBTown Gold burger for lunch. It was delicious. Worth a 320 mile drive? Debatable, but part of the joy of dining there is the post dining drive through the Loess Hills.

We veered north through Logan, then over to Magnolia before heading south & returning home. Glorious day for a drive in the ragtop. 😎

Hoped you waved at my mom when you were a mile north of Beebeetown. There's a big ol' faded light green grain storage building that's still in use. Dad built it in 1974. Used to have between 1,200-1,800 head of cattle at one time. Buy yearlings and finish them. The feed yards are now all gone, turned into more farmable land. That is/was home....... 😎 ✊

Almost all of Steve Martin's movies like The Jerk, My Blue Heaven and LA Story are awesome but are frequently dismissed by the critics as slapstick and juvenile. I'm thrilled there are fellow Steve Martin fans here. I personally think he's a comic genius much in the mode of Mel Brooks and Rodney Dangerfield. Tough to find more quotable movies as well which to me is a sign of comedy genius.

The only phone book I see on an annual basis is the one which consolidates businesses in the Orange County Vietnamese community. Makes sense as there are roughly 300,000 Vietnamese here.

Currently I have a Vietnamese primary care doc, eye doc MD, dentist, pharmacist(s), plumber, barber, car mechanic (he can fix anything German the first time every time) and handyman.

Also, The Jerk is probably one of the greatest guilty pleasure movies you'd never admit to liking.

LA Story is still one of my favorite movies. As the son of two parents who were born and raised in LA, I saw it countless times growing up.

Fun Fact: my Parent's first date was going to see The Jerk.

Also on the first date my Dad had a can of sardines in his shirt pocket he pulled out and started eating them while they waited for their pizza to arrive. My mom is a good Gothenburg girl, never has eaten fish or shellfish in her entire life.

However it apparently worked out, haven't spent over 2 days apart since. She must have been this meme

I honestly don't think scottiesbluff is on either route to or from this trip. Got some cattle on feed I want to look at north of Pierre on the way up and some calves east of Crawford i want to buy for fall delivery.
