MLPFC Shit Posting

Gonna burn up some “defensive” ammo at the range today, which will allow me to procure some NEW ammo to replace it. 😎

Beyond that, look forward to having my daughter home from AZ for Thanksgiving and having everyone under my roof for the holiday weekend.
Do you shoot at ENGC?

Do you shoot at ENGC?
No, though I know some former members. I'd love to get out there to sight in some rifles at the 100 - 200 yard mark. I've been heading down to the gun store between Eagle and Lincoln on Hwy 34 to use their outdoor range for the 50-100 yard sighting, but I'd like to stretch it a bit further to ensure everything's dialed in perfectly for ... when I need it. I miss Tactical 88's Tekamah outdoor range for those kind of sessions.

Today's session was held at "The Marksman" in Waterloo. My buddy and his dad (who now lives in TX) had a couple of new pistolas that they wanted to shoot today. I got rid of some carry and truck ammo in .44 Special, .357 Sig, and .380 ACP. They all went "bang" just fine, though I don't think its the worst idea in the world to burn off stuff that's either been on your hip or in a vehicle (hot and cold) for a year since that's the round you're betting your life on if you need it.

The lunch tab was settle in advance with a 5-round, low score (the crummiest shooter) buys session all shot from the same handgun (my buddy's Sig 365 XL) at 15 yards. My two bullseyes and the other three in the next outer ring ensured that I ate for free. I think I'd have scored a little higher with my Sig P229 configured in .357 Sig since I'm used to it ... and it has a laser grip on it, which takes most of the guess work out of where the freedom seed is going to be planted when you squeeze the trigger.

Always a good time when you're spending a morning at the gun range. Time to wipe 'em down and maybe take a little nap.

I stopped in quick at the Runza in falls city

I worked at that Runza for 16 months

Some people are calling the Falls City Runza the next Wharton School of Business.
