We asked LaJolla to come over but he politely declined, DarkMark pops up every once in awhile on tMB, granted it’s been a few months since I had a sub there.

Overall tMB is unrecognizable from its former glory and a shell of what it was in the late 2010s. Not worth the sub over there anymore

Ever since gen mod came along and took away a lot of the NSFW stuff there, it's not as fun. It was definitely an interesting thread and time on there, that's for sure.

Amen. I walked away from tMB when EVERY thread became overrun with politics. One of the many good things about tPB is the Parking Lot section for those who DO wish to discuss it.

Some of us are on here to get a break from all that, and given the uptick in ads associated with the four-year Presidential election cycle, those havens are going to be more difficult to find for a while.

The worst part is that even in timely news threads there are a group of posters that swoop in like the Spanish Inquisition to inject their politics and soon the thread becomes completely unreadable. The old mods being replaced made this inevitable. It would never have happened while they were in charge.

Agree with ya Benson. Onesmad, mcgiblets and I can't recall the other main mod at the moment were pretty damn good at keeping the board petty bullshit policed yet allowing it to be free reign on most things in general.
