My kids don't trick or treat anymore so I didn't miss out on anything but answering the door for a few neighbor kids and kids that drove from the poor neighborhoods.
I'm not a grumpy old man but I do get annoyed when the kid with a beard and a half assed costume is at my door.

My sisters kid. He's a good kid but mom died when he was like 13 so he was around his dad's weird family more than mine for his years of what's not dorky. He didn't have much of a chance.
